Log In Process for Canvas

New Canvas login process:

The login process to access Canvas.

1. Login to the student portal:     https://portal.chartercollege.edu/
   
2. Click on CANVAS to open menu
3. Click the CANVAS option that appears in the menu under the one you just clicked
4. Click on CANVAS LMS.
5. The login screen for Canvas will look similar to the screen shot shown here:
   
6. You will be required to use your school student email address to log in.
   Your email address is usually your “first initial [e-mail]”. For example, John Doe would be “[e-mail]”. If you are the second John Doe in our system, it would be “[e-mail]”.

In addition, your Canvas password will be the same password you currently use to access your school email and the student portal.

If you have stored your username and password in your browser, after the change you will have to reenter your email and password.
