SuperSonic Tablet - Instructions for Using the First Time

Instructions on using your new SuperSonic tablet for the first time

• Be careful when opening your tablet, it has a removable keyboard that could be damaged if you open it too forcefully
• Remove plastic from screen and touch pad
• To power on, hold the power button down for 2 seconds and release
• You will see your student account on the start up screen, please enter your Charter College password (the default password is “chartercollegeXXXX”, the XXXX is the last four of your social security number)
• At the “Use Windows Hello with your account” screen, select “Ok”
• Confirm your student email address and select “Next”
• At the “Additional security verification” screen input or verify your cell phone number, Microsoft will only use this number for account security
• At the next screen, input your verification code that Microsoft sends to your cell, and click “Verify”
• Click “Done”
• On the next screen you will set up a PIN number that you will use to log into your tablet, and click “Ok”
• At “All Set” click “Ok”
• You are now ready to use your tablet, as you open Microsoft Teams or Office, it will automatically use your student account
